♥ Turning a beautiful shot ruined by nasty zoo windows..
Into something just beautiful :).......or me trying.
What I'll be using:
Photoshop Cs3 extended
A MOUSE (dies)
And lots of determination.
Here is our lovely picture to start off:
I have no particular area's I want to start off with, but I'm intensely bothered by the body of the Jag. So I'm going to take the healing brush, pick a clean piece of the body and work on making it work with the rest of the body.
Then use the healing brush and move over problem spots, like the white areas from the mirror and dust and dirt that covered the Jag's coat.
You should end up with something like this:
Next, we're going to do the same thing to the bark.
Until we get something like..
Okay for now, I'm done with the healing brush and instead im going to work my way up to the Image tab, go down to Adjustments and click on Brightness/Contrast.
I'm going to up the Brightness: +20 and Contrast: +100 .
Then I used the Burn tool at 49% and had the range set to Shadows.
Clearly I am bad at tutorials, as I am all over the place. ANYWAYS, moving forward. Onto this baby's, beautiful face.
I used the burn tool at 49% and 25% on the face and the dodge tool around the eyes and highlights.
The final thing i need to work on....THOSE EYES. I have to go, so i'll just show the end result :D

This site is an amazing site that shares a LOT of tutorials on Photoshop which I have been studying religiously and will sample after work today. They have a current contest going on and my dream is to win that Wacom tablet. I've always wanted a tablet and my brother had one and using it was so amazing. I had more freedom that I do with my logitech wireless mouse and the different pressure sensitivity levels were so delightful.
So, fingers crossed for me!! :D

♥ Turning 20
The age of 19 had been a very rocky one. I went through so many different transitions, of new jobs, new people, less people then less communication. Not only a year ago today was I the hot topic, then I shyed away from that scene once I saw how stupid people can turn out from it.
I disconnected from a lot of people, but do my best at communicating with who I can. My goal was to have a license and be in school by now...LAWL. That didn't happen because I got lazy. Way too lazy, but not lazy enough to not work. I love having a job and I love being able to pay for things myself. I need a second job so I can pay off my bills and make it so that the money I AM making can all be spent on what "I" want and my cellphone bill haha.
I'm the last in the group to go to school, which is weird because I thought out of my group of friends I would be the there and stay there. There is some comfort in knowing some aren't going back, but anxiety because I want the best for them AND I want the best for myself too.
I dated here and there and messed around there and here. Nothing special, nothing to gloat about, not that I ever gloated about relationships anyways. I'm too young for the drama and complications that come with being in love. That can wait until I'm 30. 10 fucking years to go, jesus christ, they'll be here before I know if I don't get kissed by a city bus before then.
This week has been pretty bland and I'll have to say the highlight of it is the fact that I sat my fighting mother and brother down and made them kiss and make up. The most involved I've been with my family in years and I kinda liked playing mediator. I also liked seeing them smile then "huff, puff and blow their annoyance around", The house is much more peaceful, peaceful enough that I rearranged my room and gave it a welcome feel as opposed to 'Get The Fuck Out' emotion.
I think I'll send this post off with a list of goals I want to achieve before the age of 21.
What I want to achieve:
I will think of more along the way, but I'll check them off as I go along :D

- Have a good enough income to support my school tuition next year.
- Lose 40 pounds. (I'm at 1 fucking 70, it doesn't show b/c I'm tall, BUT I SEE IT)
- Live a healthier lifestyle.
- Purchase a cintiq tablet. (I'm hoping to win a Wacom Intuos4 from RoyalTutorials. fingers crossed)
- Find a second job.
- Spend less time on the computer.
I will think of more along the way, but I'll check them off as I go along :D

♥ Like a personal diary...
Only public, but it's not like I expect anyone to read it, or hope for anyone to.
I've come a long way since my days of being a "LOVER OF ALL GURL GAMERS" and just gaming in general, but my passion for fashion has not ceased. I can't get into the whole blogging for comments and blogging every single day to keep an audience entertained, nor do i plan to. I've seen e-fame go to the heads of some and definitely don't see it as fit for me.
I've got a few things to blog about, but not now, I'm in the process of reorganizing and cleaning out my room. It's too cluttered.

♥ I need to Blog more
I haven't written a blog in the longest time.
What is new?
I just graduated from HS on friday, January 18, 2008. I'm super stoked. I'll elaborate more at a later time, because i am currently in Orientation for PMS. Yes Yes, Everyone is cool.
I have a meeting tonight at work, that i really am not to thrilled about going to, but it is required. And i have to dress up. YAY. NOT!
Anyways, Tomorrow, i'll have a better blog :)

♥ Do I Pwn Or Do I Pwn?
So yeah, my day was pretty low key. Stayed home, slept, played a few games and did a little dancing. I spent like 30 minutes taking new pictures to post up. Yeah, i think i took like 50 and only kept 10 HAHA. I'm very picky.
I did pretty well on Halo 3 today. I went 30 kills, 1 assist and 5 deaths. I was pretty proud of myself! Here is proooof!
See there. FashionVirtuosa. If I were rowdy and not such a good girly, i would scream a four letter "r" word at the top of my lungs. But instead i say pwn.
Which has me thinking. I need to think of a fun and girly way to say total ownage.

On another note. Feb 02, 2008, I get to make my PMS tag. I like the tag I want, and i think it is unique. I had a list of idea's of PMS tags, but i don't know if i'm allowed to post them. I haven't played with the girls since friday, and i won't be able to until tuesday because my job is having a presets and im there until 11. Maybe there is an early practice i can catch.
I've been looking at places in Cali. I found a LOT of nice cheap places, but I'm still afraid of the weather. I have no one over there, or on the west coast for that matter. I've been babied my whole life and to leave is a big step. But i want to soooooo bad. And Cali is A fashion zone, New York is bigger, but I think i would rather die in a mud slide than a shooting somewhere in the overly expensive NYC...
I haven't though about Florida yet...Maybe that is a possiblity...

♥ A Blog For Fashion?
So I decided to create a blog. People have them so i thought i would join the scene. No one will probably read this, so either way its like a public diary. All comments welcome.
Well to start, about me. My name is Vanessa, I started going by Chrisy a few weeks ago, I wanted a change since i don't really like my name. But w/e, i leave it up to the person on what they want to call me. I'm 18 years old, i reside in CT. I finish HS this month and I am extremely excited. I want to get the heck out. Anyways. I love love love fashion. The Title and name FashionVirtuosa is a nickname I was given by a friend. It also happens to be my Xbox Live Gamertag. Yes, I am a gamer that works at Banana Republic. Not too many people understand why I game, but those who do play totally get me. Not to say my friends don't get me either. I want to have a career in Fashion. Whether it be Merchandising, Designing, Styling, Managing. Whatever! The Fashion world interests me So much, which is why I am so greatful to work at Banana. Banana Republic is an amazing company under Gap Inc. The employees and employers work hard to keep the amazing rep of the company up to par and beyond. Bringing wonderful customer service, stylish tips, building wardrobes and making the shopping experience a well like and amazing one. I work in Visuals and I love working in Jewelry. Setting up a case of new jewelry is always an amazing, but long process. Our jewelry is amazing and you don't have to burn through your wallet to get it.
I'm currently recruiting for an All Girls gaming Clan Call PMS. Ex-Psychotic Man Slayers, Now Pandora's Might Soldiers. Founded by Amber Dalton and Amy Brady. Two gorgeous twins, also known as Athena Twin PMS and Athena PMS. The girls in PMS are gamers, pro gamers, wives, mothers, sisters, granddaughters, grandmothers, businesswomen, managers etc. They are the one who started the cut of the stereotype that women shouldn't play video games but showing the men in games a thing or another about how to kill your opponent. These girls go to MLG, Tournaments, Lan's, Events and more. The most widely spoken of girl gaming clan i believe. There is also a mens division called H2O. The H2O are men who support and are loyal to PMS. They are husbands, boyfriends, best friends, or just guys who want to support these awesome women. PMS plays on a variety of games, from ps3, pc, xbox to xbox 360. The big games currently are Gears of War, Halo 3 and COD4. I'm recruiting for PMS Omega on the Halo 3 Division. I believe I am good, certainly not as good as the Omega girls, YET. I still have a Lot to learn. I definately need to work on my calling out haha.
I will be using this blog as a daily log of events in my day that happen at work, with friends, on xbox live and anything else that comes to mind. I hope i'll at least get some interested viewers. haha!
